It’s A Chocolate Thing

For all you chocolate lovers out there. Offering a selection of delicious artisan chocolate gifts. Judy Forrester makes the chocolate in her very own shepherds hut – see above – and she says it’s the perfect environment. “To make the chocolate, first it is tempered, to get the crystals stabilised and then you mould it with the aim of getting a shiny chocolate with a snap. It can be quite difficult to work with and the temperature and humidity have to be just right to avoid ‘bloom’ – that’s a whitish coating that you may have seen.”
